Digitale Wunder

Aus einem Artikel des Wall Street Journal über religiöse Nischen im Filmgeschäft:

(...) Joe Eszterhas, screenwriter of "Basic Instinct" and "Showgirls" who was nefariously antireligious until, cancer-stricken, he became a reborn Catholic several years ago.

"I tried to get a project going about [St.] Paul, but there was no interest in it," said Mr. Eszterhas, who bolted Hollywood for exurban Cleveland. "And we live in an era of remakes, but 'Ben Hur' and 'The Ten Commandments' aren't being remade. Imagine the parting of the Red Sea with digital effects!"

Eszterhas mag Christ geworden sein - Sensationalist ist er geblieben...

  1. Na ja, da ist er in der Show-Religion schlechthin ja ganz gut aufgehoben, oder ???
